Dropping Balls
Despite the appearance of a circle in canola over Easter, I wanted to write to you before the season really started in the fields. At the moment I am rather busy as people write asking to go on my tour — in fact I feel rather as though I am throwing lots of balls into the air and not catching all of them!
My crop circle tour is just about full. However, there are still places available for the special evening visit to Stonehenge. So please get in touch with me if you would like to join me in this magical visit.
We are just at that moment of thinking, ‘I wonder what this summer will bring us and will there be an underlying message telling or showing us a theme of as yet unknown significance?’ Having been interested in the Unknown for many years, getting involved with this phenomenon seemed a natural progression when serious research and interest took place in 1990. I have seen a multitude of events in the fields over the years, appearing in all forms of spiritual, academic and general knowledge, guiding us in ways previously new and unexplored; opening our senses often in ways unexpected; at times their interpretation channelling the most nimble of brains.
Quite apart from the mental, their physical and physiological effect has been extraordinary. Early on, due to a personal event, I started logging the effects experienced by and sent to me by people inside the formations or in the vicinity of the circle. I now have an excess of 835 very varied reports describing what has happened to them, some most unusual and certainly unexpected. A friend found that her legs became weak as soon as she was within the radius (or aura) of the formation.
My continuing quest has been to try and find ways of distinguishing between the genuine and man-made circles. This led me down a quantity of varied paths. In this search, I had the help of many people who introduced me to the world of science and to the relevant people whose field of expertise furthered each area of this research. Foremost among them is chartered engineer Jim Lyons, without whose expertise and encouragement none of the various areas of research would have taken place. Despite my lack of any scientific knowledge (girls were not taught science), I believe it must be a part of my DNA as it has held a huge interest for me, due to the scientific expertise on my father’s side. Jim Lyons, being part of the scientific world, would direct the samples I had taken to the appropriate laboratories, and when tested he would analyse the results and send them on to me in graph form.
My final research is conducted by recently retired highly specialised clinical physiologist, Paul Gerry. This research looks for the reason why certain Parkinson’s or Essential Tremor sufferers encounter a temporary cessation (lasting up to several hours) when their shaking or tremor ceases. The testing procedure is as follows: the first of three identical tests is taken inside a building, before proceeding into a circle and thirdly repeating the identical tests some distance away from the circle. The equipment used to conduct the three identical procedures is the latest and highly specialised.
However, despite all our best efforts, the reason for these irregularities eludes us, and whereas changes may vary from location to location, the answer for the complete temporary cessation still remains unknown.
To find a cure for Parkinson’s disease remains our goal and so our research continues.
I was talking to a farmer this week and whereas due to the excess of rain last spring there were many bare patches in their fields, this year looks very promising.
If any circles appear, we must get permission to enter the circle AND only walk down the tramlines (lines in the field used for sowing, spraying etc.) that take us directly into the circle and NOT across his crop.
Due to the use of drones, photography has become greatly used by many more people. When operated by experts, it gives excellent results and, during the time when there are no circles, fantastic pictures are taken of the wonderful countryside and the flora and fauna around us. Simon Young has become more and more adept and he has given me permission to send you some of his latest.
